I don't know what people hate about the Suunto in the comments. I have the stainless observer, and I think it's a solid timepiece. It's a little smaller than most triple function watches, it wears well, has a good feel about it, and performs as expected. The digital compass hasn't been stellar, as I need to recalibrate it often, but everything else about the watch has been great. I've never owned a Polar, but I'll always own a Suunto.

I've just bought that stupid Suunto....completely useless,very expensive and not worth the money. The negative display is cool but not on this watch...it has a very busy dial impossible to read...wasted money...
