@JovianTroll Well, fortunately, or unfortunately that can't be proven either way. That's why they call them "Unsolved Mysteries."

@subslament P.S. I found some of the VHS I had purchased years ago were copy guarded and wouldn't dub. Soooo--I went on eBay again and found a VHS stabilizer that when connected properly will get around that copy guard and it will dub just fine. I also found some of the ones I recorded off TV were also copy guarded. VHS stabilizer does the trick.

Unsolved mystery: Why is the volume on this video so damn low?
JustinFromSydney 1 month ago 4
@JustinFromSydney Because I originally recorded this on VHS and then dubbed it to DVD. I apologize for the poor quality.

@napachild How did you dub it to DVD? Do any stores do that?
Id love to get some home videos transfered

@subslament Just buy a dvd/vhs player/recorder. With dubbing on it. If you can't find any brand new ones, there are lots on eBay. That's where I got mine. Got one brand new in 2005. I don't know if they make them new any more, but you can still get a good used one for around $150. I recommend checking eBay first.
