  • By the way, I have the best kicks in my sparring group. (One person who was in the marines, did Muay Thai since he was 6). Your kicks shows me there is still a lot of things that I need to work on. Thank You.

  • @ett40146 It takes a good serious martial artist to recognise this. In my opinion you must be a very good martial artists to know your shortcomings.

    Thank you

  • You are ridiculously fast. Its such a coincidence you sent me this video exactly when my buddies are telling me I telegraph my punches too much and have been relearning and undoing my habits of telegraphing. It's like learning to walk again. You are an inspiration as always. I hope the other Kung Fu teachers in the USA see your video, and are humble enough to 1) learn from it and 2) give credit where its due. Sadly, most of them are all esoteric talk, war stories, and no substance.

  • @ett40146 Thanks for the kind words. I think we all tend to telegraph a lot of our techniques, however in real life confrontations, one has to be focused within your mind outside of the Dojo. Most of us tend to forget, that the dojo is a controlled environment. On the streets however, there are no rules nor will you be in a controlled environment. Hence the element of surprise is a prerequisite with every move you make.

  • OH so cool! I wish there was a Fai Gur school here in the Philippines ^^

  • i like the way that you don't give away that you are going to kick. i can imagen that happening, just get a foot in de side of your head out of nowhere

  • @Brother7lowly Fai-Gur kung fu takes good techniques that work from all systems, it could be Wing Chin or any style. The fact remains its a fighting style that works against any other systems in a real fight. Praying Mantis is a part of Fai-Gur system and the cat stance is very effective stance, hence we utilise this stance much.

  • Is the far-gur stance like northrn praying mantis stance or a cat stance?

  • Good video Sifu :)
