@RetroToledo Indeed. They even released Mappy as a Famicom Mini game on the Japanese GBA. The only thing Mappy-related we have now is Mappy on the Wii Virtual Console Arcade.
This underrated game was ported onto the NES/Famicom, but only in Japan. However, we did get an NES sequel to this game called "Mappy Land". But, Japan had most of the Mappy-related games, including another arcade game entitled "Hopping Mappy". Namco even sold a Mappy robot, programmed to stop and turn whenever it hit the small "wall" pieces; in other words, it was a maze-following toy robot.
@ApacheMan2K We were lucky to get it in the "Museum" and "Plug 'n Play" compilations.
