(Show 10, Part 1) In this HIV Talk Show (www.HIVtalkshow.com) webisode, Twalla Marshall (GCPG Coordinator) and Mark Douglas (GCPG Rural Co-Chair) discuss the importance of state planning groups, in particular the Georgia Community Planning Group (GCPG), for the HIV affected and infected community. They discuss how the GCPG advocates that funding resources are allocated to areas which are reflective of the community in Georgia. Also discussed is the GCPG HIV prevention plan and how it changes with input from the GCPG members, and the challenges of how to get people from rural areas involved and how the GCPG address those challenges.
