North Fistral CAN be a lot heavier, and harder to surf than the Cribbar when its this size, Ive been out in it when it has been myself a few times.

Can't believe we went all the way to Hawaii and then missed bigger waves in our home county! Serve me right - and beer is not so good there either!!!

Gotta add this though, there are some of our fathers who surfed this in the seventies without tow in and jet ski rescue. They paved the way.

Yeeeeeehaaaaw!!! That is a beautiful lookin' wave!!! Even some of the Pros said they were shittin' themselves haha!!! I think whoever takes on the Cribbar is very brave!!

Love it! Saw the Skindog van and ski in Sainsbury's carpark today and wanted to give you a high five.... so should have. Nice one.

There were plenty of wave faces in the 20-30ft out there - some sets were smaller for sure as you would expect. The national papers called it 50ft waves...which is err..a bit over the top :)

@samkayak2 yeh, people have in the past. An SUP guy tried but couldn't get on the waves, then got caught inside and lost his paddle :)
