One of our cockatiels, Kiki, is singing to our 19lbs cat, Samuel. The other cockatiel's name is Chip.

Looks like the cat is smart enough to figure out the birds have value to the humans, thus the cat wont eat the birds...yet. Prolly wait till you leave the house, just to be safe.

i have a 8 month old cockatiel and he whistles at my cat too but tbh ive had the cat 3 years n shes utterly sh*t scared of the bird !
