The gag had excellent build-up and great execution. The little dance routine at the end is the icing on the cake. One of the greats.

This has been my favourite gag of all time, ever since I heard it when I was about 13. Ten years on and it still cracks me up! Thank God my Mom and Dad watch good comedy.

Les Dawson, Tommy Cooper and Ken Dodd are my Trinity of comedic stars guaranteed to make me laugh no matter what, the comedy they provide is timeless.
This was proven to me last week when my 8 year old nephew actually put down his IPAD (from which he usually has to be surgically removed) as he sat howling with laughter at a Les Dawson DVD we watched.
