Following the successful Songs of the Soul Concerts in New York, the European students of Sri Chinmoy had the idea to create a similar event in Europe. In November 2008 the group of several dozens of singers and musicians commemorated the musical legacy of Sri Chinmoy with a successful tour through 7 European cities: Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Munich, Milano, Zurich and Heidelberg. I was visiting the Zurich performance and here is a first part: Adesh (sitar) and his wife Ajita (Tabla). View more videos on Srin Chinmoy on http://www.srichinmoy.tv.

  • is this a genre of music? and if it is, may i get the name of this genre ,

and also if its not, what is similar to this?

  • @xHelloxItsxRoninx it is soulful spiritual music. The songs composed by Sri Chinmoy are a catagory in itself as he combines soulfulnes with inner strength and power...

  • With due respect to every individual,

Devotion and spiritualism is there, but sorry to say musically I am disappointed, especially the rhythm {tal} component.

    Nevertheless, good attempt.

    God bless everybody.
