Rhello Yorobe's Watercolor Painting Time-lapse

This is a time-lapse video of a watercolor that I painted as gift to a friend (the subject). This basically shows my process--nothing too elaborate. Interesting note though to those not familiar with some watercolor techniques; the first bit of colour applied to the face is actually not colour but a liquid-rubber that is used as a mask. This liquid-rubber, when dry and no longer needed, can be rubbed away to reveal what was originally there.

The idea to create a time-lapse came to me halfway through sketching the image so this isn't exactly a start-to-finish example but close enough.

The camera (Canon 40D) was set to take a shot every 15 seconds and the slap of the shutter would knock the focus of the camera lens out bit by bit. I didn't realize this until I checked the images during a break. So I taped the focus ring down so it wouldn't move. The tape came off and the camera went out of focus again. So I put more tape on the focus ring and it held the rest of the way.

The music is played by myself and is an old Doc Watson tune called "Doc's Guitar".

i know you copied the picture, but the lips look to strong with that outline, although good work . What paper did you use ?
