A short film made as a class project by the 2006-07 Burleson High School Media Tech class for a little over 200 dollars. Based on the short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" by Ambrose Bierce, but adapted for World War II as opposed to the Civil War.

The film was shot on location in the small rural town of Tolar, Texas on the historical Rock Church Bridge - a cable and stayed truss suspension bridge built in 1917.

  • Very bad. The best thing about it was the story, and that was from a short story. I looked it up on Wiki and it said "award winning". Sneaky bastards.

  • @Legokink1 Dude, realize we made this in high school when we were all very new to film making. We didn't have access even to an HD camera, as we shot this on an old Canon GL II. And it actually did place 3rd place in a college film festival here in Texas, primarily because it was noted that it was made by high school students, which impressed the judges.

  • Wardrobe mainly.

  • That's why it's an adaptation.

  • This is a great film from High School Students. With a shoe string budget the accomplishments were fantastic. Watch this film in that light and I think your opinions will be good.

  • Im currently studying this story for my english lit class...i ran across your version after watching the twilight zone version aired org. aired in 1964. Your version was very well put together! (esp. for that price)...Keep up the good work & God Bless!
