Actually, tha ottoman/memluk buildings are mostly in Massawa, while in Asmara the most of the architecture is italian.

@downlegal No you are wrong, most of the Buildings' architecture here is of Ottoman/ Memluk isalmic style..The Italians concentrated in road buildings, bridges and sea port renewal... :)

It looks like italian architects did their best down there. I'm going to Eritrea next week, and I think I'll make at least 1GB of buildings pictures.
