Russian fears grow that neo-nazis plan to hijack Feb 4th protests

This hair-raising documentary exposes the deadly activities of Russian skinheads, the stories of their victims and the threat emerging in the north of Europe, which now harbours the world's largest number of neo-Nazis.
They run towards a forest. Mr Demushkin - the leader of the Slavic Union, which is the biggest neo-Nazi group in Russia - warms up the atmosphere. "Sieg Heil" he screams as he raises his hand in a Fascist salute. The rest, who have lined up around him, return the sign shouting "White Power". It is one of the world's paradoxes: the country that defeated the Nazi war machine with the blood of 20 million people today harbours the world's largest number of neo-Nazis.
Mr. Demushkin speaks bluntly. "Look at what is happening, look at the situation in Europe! With all the damn immigrants that come here, they bring their whole village and spit out 15 offspring each." He proudly presents the achievements that Russian skinheads have upload on the web. In one video, two Nazi murderers slaughter two immigrants in the forest against a swastika backdrop. In another, they hang an immigrant from a tree and cheer as their victim's body convulses, taking their last breath.
World War II veteran Boris Stambler cannot believe it. With all his medals hanging around his neck, he wonders how it's possible for neo-Nazis to exist in the country that defeated Fascism. "They kill people only because they are of a different nationality", he says.
What is most unsettling is that in 21st century Russia, these nostalgists of terror have hundreds of thousands of supporters. According to surveys, 60% of the population agrees with the slogan 'Russia for the Russians' and many are prepared to justify murders of immigrants, who they consider responsible for unemployment, criminality and the evils of Russian society.

The irony of it all is that Hitler also considered Slavs as subhuman. Its a true shame this great country is going down the drain. I feel sorry for those who risked their lives bravely fighting this evil only to have their grandkids and great grandkids idolize this same evil.

Although the rise of Neo-Nazism is evil in the continent of Europe one must understand the current situation. The continent (especially Russia) has a very low birthrate and a very high immigration rate. As a result more immigrants are coming in the land than locals. And to cap things up Europe is not like the USA. Europe ( as racist as this may be) is the ancestral homeland of the white man with its own traditions. And many of these immigrants want to impose themselves. And this makes locals :(

@robto This is true. Many of them are there to improve the lives of themselves and their children and in many respects due to imperialism Europe might just deserve this fate. Also the random beatings of innocents is also wrong and unjust. But still, Europe has its own problems to deal with. Now if these immigrants got an education and opened up universities and businesses at their homeland with the help of Europe and the USA maybe there won't be a need for this migration and everyone will be OK.
