13 year-old Mindy Chen, tied first place in the 11th Wieniawski and Lipinski International Violin Competition, plays the fourth movement of Lalo's Spanish Symphony in the finals.

i absolutely like this interpretation. again shes got the amazing sounding.

i played lalo myself and undoubtedly this is my fav movement of all. no tricky stuff at all but pure passions and emotions." dont practice this" my teacher would say. this is not a robotic movement. this is about the emotions conveyed it but not skills.

absolute fab, but i dont quite agree though the sense of rhythm. it could have been more rubato. dont be bonded by the scores. express whats in you

All of Mindy's performances are excellent! Did she play the whole concerto? If so, I can't wait to hear the 5th movement =)
