@justdance898 Opera singing is nothing to do with singing high...it's the tessitura, placement and how you use the voice that determines Opera singers.

I much prefer a contralto voice than a soprano one. Katherine Jenkins is halfway.

@justdance898 there are opera singers that are not sopranos. Actually, sopranos are the common bunch. It is harder to get a mezzo soprano and the industry is begging for them.

I am a mezzo soprano and I cannot reach high notes. It is impossible for me. But I do low notes very well.

She is actualy a mezzo soprano . People cannot get the idea that this is a classicaly trained singer singing a popular song ,her recorsding of this is brilliant.
