@hookalakah That's right! On that three hour aircheck of Dave Diamond's Diamond Mine from 06-16-67 he plays this and "Weatherman". I think he might've played "In My Mind Lives A Forest" also. If you don't have that show, get it.

Sublime. Caterpillars. Haze. Oh well, back to school... I want to graduate with the class of 1967.

Good stuff, Thank You for putting this up -I read they were actually a band from Denver, CO and discovered by Phil Spector.
-
Diamond managed the band when it got to L.A. and the Rainy Daze frequently opened the Diamond-produced shows at the Valley Music Theatre that were typically headlined by the Seeds, theDoors and/or Love.
Eat the goody outta that and I'll crack ya another one.

could somebody upload "blood of oblivion" ?

thanx so much..they wrote this after they smoked the gold with a dash of sunshine..the epitamy of psychodelphia..
wonder if they remember writing it?...totally cool

"Acapulco Gold" faked people out. If that's all you knew of the Rainy Daze, you would have thought they were in the same retro bag as the New Vaudeville Band or Sopwith Camel. This was a good San Diego psyche band that deserved better. As it was, Dave Diamond at KBLA and B. Mitchell Reed at KFWB played their records. That counted for something.
