@mrceleb2006 I have to wonder...is that the case for CFL telecasts nationwide? (Do these Safeway ads air on TSN outside of Western Canada, or during all-East matchups, like Hamilton vs. Toronto?)

I remember also hearing those Safeway jingles on the radio back around that same time frame (1974-77). A neat bit of nostalgia.

I do recall their photofinishing slots/kiosks...I guess that became the Gift Card Mall.
