i had an older casio where the video output would be in .avi. now it's in .mov. i try to convert the old vids so i can put it on this cam but i have trouble. is it even possible?
thats the same trouble with me, why the hell are they all its MOV, 90% of people have windows PC, they read AVI on media player etc. WHY? if you want to convert them, try downloading "kates video converter" i use it, the only problem is, with the free one, it leave like a water mark at the top corner for like 3 seconds. its good though.
I have one, it's cool but takes the worst low light pictures ever! No Image Stabilization means LOTS of noise on your night shots. Also manual rotate only. Good daytime shots, good video, You Tube uploader, and well made. I'd buy a Canon Elph with IS next time. BTW, mine is blue- very cool looking!

how do you get the movies to be AVI or JPEG,and not MOV when you upload them to your pc??
thats odd though, i mean why would the digi cam have a MOV file when you make videos? =/ MOV files are mostly on the Video Cams.
