i compare China and Tibet with the British and India, the British may have exploited India but before the British the Indian upper class were doing a great job of exploiting their own population, at least the British Gave India democracy

I just want to learn more about the situation there is very little in this documentary to show why China should be able to rule Tibet ... you have shown that Tibet wasn't as we belive it was but why does that give China the authority to rule it ?? I am being honest in my questioning I truley want to learn more

it could possibly be part of chinese propaganda to attack the dalai lama. or maybe he did do those bad things as well? maybe the chinese is manipulating the value of their dollar today? or maybe that is u.s. propaganda? rofl. partial rambling, but hopefully you can see where i'm coming from.

Hey guys, may i join your conversation of baseless conjectures? Propaganda!!! I believe I summed up almost everything . Propaganda is not only one sided thus I must say that factual sources may not longer be of any credit. So lets summerise! Is Chinese Troops in Tibet? Is Tibet independent? Is occupation feasible?
Heinrich loathed his past, regretted his ties to Nazi-ism, it's not as 'cut and dry' as this video portrays, research deeper than this video and find out for yourself.

@captainfantastard Why should I waste my time on that? Who cares if he regretted? Most convicted criminals say that they do, yet he wasn't even punished for his crimes. The documentary presents history, so his actions, not thoughts and feelings, because there's no proof of them.

@Eurynomos69 was he convicted? did he kill people? maybe we shud just hate all german people who didn't rebel against hitlar. It's easy to judge, but look at the world today and then look in the mirror. My dad was a soldier in Northern Ireland, 25 years later he's a buddist teaching meditation. maybe Heinrich didn't live in his past his whole life cos that's no way to lie

@captainfantastard I really don't want to either argue with you, nor I would say bad things about your father or Buddhism. These aren't the main points here.I don't think we should hate Germans, especially when it's me being in Germany, not you. Conscious Germans aren't big fans of Hitler either, you know?As for Heinrich, do you really believe he never killed or ordered an execution of anyone? Has he had his rank in the military for... washing dishes?

@captainfantastard Also, two things you are skipping here so I will bring them out:
fact 1 - Although most Germans were in Wermacht (the Army) just from self-preservation reasons, Heinrich was a member of SS, a formation that was Hitler's favorite and committed most crimes on behalf of Nazis in WWII. Their methods of dealing with "threats" weren't human at all. Also membership in Nazi Party wasn't compulsory in III Reich.

@captainfantastard Plus: The SA and the SS (founded in April 1925 as Hitler's bodyguard, commanded by Himmler) were described as "support groups", and all members of these groups had first to become regular party members. So as you can see, it was actually "easier" to become a Nazi Party member than an SS thug. FACT 2 - There were many Germans fighting against Nazis, mostly Communists, Harrer had a choice, he chose guys who promised repressions against Jews, Slavs, Roms and whatnot...
