Thank you. The uralic and altaic languages are related language groups, often is called ural-altaic language group. Now is a huge dispute about the hungarians origin, finno-ugric or turk. The hungarian nationalists sustain the turk origin, the ogur group (like the chuvas ). Five from the hung settler tribes had turk name and two finno-ugrian name, so probably the hung. are a finno-ugric-turk(ogur) mixed population.

hungarian population is almost clearly slavonic now. Language and culture is one thing, but their DNA is same as in countries arround.
