  • @PoetsLight if characters are alive then you Know they are good. I love when a character tells you where to go in a story or how to solve a problem of inconsistency, just by being themselves.

  • Empathy is definitely the most crucial aspect to storytelling. If you can't understand how a character will react and perceive to a given situation, then the writing will be stilted and flat.
