  • Wow, what kind of class 4 video card are you using? I'm using a Sandisk Extreme Class 10 HD SDHC memory card on my IXUS 220 and it's not even getting the performance of your class 4 memory card.

  • @Thokko It was a SDHC SanDisk Ultra 8gb class 4 (15mb/s*), now im using a SDHC Kingston 16gb class 10 (SD10G2/16GB), still haven't recorded a test.

  • Great quality, great object to video to test the video quality. Good sound as well. Cheers.

  • @01dSk00L So what other makes of cards are trustworthy and can keep a good buffer speed?

  • After reading many tests and seeing many videos, i just received that camera... but i "feel" may be 1 big problem which nobody speak about... i mean full HD video and battery power !!!!!

I just made 3 very short movies (total 00.01.50) for testing and enjoing my new camera... and the battery is EMPTY !!!!!!!!! : (((

So, of course, it's very good quality HD, but if after just 2mn or less, battery is off, it's not a very good surprise !!!!

Could someone tell some more about this ?....

    Thank's

  • is there actually much difference between recording video on class 4 or class 10 on the ixus 220?

  • Hi! I have just a question, on a feature not found on the canon website: is the optical zoom usable during video recording or only the digital zoom is available for videos?
