Sonoma County beekeeper Serge Labesque treats his bees with respect, though that's probably not all that's needed to save the world's swarms from Colony Collapse Disorder. The sticky stuff's far-reaching power includes healing burns and adorning a fine panna cotta recipe.

  • @xhotshot12 Look for Really Raw brand. It's straight off the honey comb, no processing.

  • I think the guys comment about wondering whether GMOs, and specifically those with BT built in (my thought), could possibly be causing or contributing to the collapse is insightful. I keep bees, or rather I should say KEPT bees. My last hive died out recently. I've been studying the whole thing for quite some time now, and I believe it is, like Serge said, caused by a number of contributing factors, from pesticides to pollution, to herbicides to fungicides, to BT laced GMOs. Ditch them all.

  • Wait a second. You're telling me I can get rid of my spring allergies by buying local honey?! Where was this information when I needed it every spring?!

  • @ComboSlicer agreed

  • @xhotshot12

its because they added sugar water.

  • My honey crystallised! It was the Sainsbury brand :)

  • What a fine gentleman.

  • Well done very informative and i hope you continue your great work !
