@GuitarGodgt thanks for the reply, I did everything in the vid 100% wet etc, I am recording also with an esp with emg pickups into a fast track pro m-audio interface, i had trouble with loading the impulses cause they were in .rar format so I downloaded a rar expander and now the files show up on reverance but I noticed it does not change the sound much, should each impulse sound very different? Im thinking it may be something with that. also is there a way to record with the effect on instead?

I have the exact same set up as you and followed every step perfect but for some reason it still sounds like shit, by inserting both lecto and reverence on the same track does that mean they automatically "talk" or work with each other or is there a step that I am missing? Right now it just sounds like garbage distortion and not like the way yours is. any help will be appreciated and thanks for the great video!

- Did you add the plugins exactly as shown? It's very important that the amp go before reverence in your insert section.
- Did you leave the impulse 100% wet as shown?
I did forget to mention in the video that the guitar you use has a large impact on the sound as well. If I recall right the tracks I used were recorded on an ESP with EMG pickups into a RME Fireface 800.

Stupid character limit didn't let me finish. My passive guitar has less output than my active guitar and I have to adjust accordingly to compensate. The biggest thing here though is to set the gain going in correctly, do not clip on the way in!

Where do you put these free amps simulators when you download them?

I can only say where they go on OSX: HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
For PC google says: C:Program FilesSteinbergVSTPlugins
This is where you drag and drop those plugins if there is no installer. .vst is the extension for OSX and .dll is the extension for windows
