  • @mshanseat1 - they aren't "glorifying" them. The album is about the life of Imelda Marcos starting from when her hushband came to power until they were forced to leave the Philippines for robbing money =D hope that helps clear things up

  • @mshanseat1 That's according to the vindictive, self-righteous,

    hypocritical Cory Aquino.

  • @rubien44 Imelda ended the cold war?Seriously? That is an interesting perspective I've never heard. Can anyone elaborate on this?

  • Fatboy Slim and Santigold??? Are you kiding!! :D

  • My mom always talks about how much cleaner the parks were when Marcos was in power. She was disappointed in the state of Luneta Park when we visited a few years back.

The Philippines really needs a leader who is for the people and has long lasting policies. The fact that many Filipinos look back fondly at the times of a opulent dictator's regime shows that change still hasn't come.

  • Thanks David for this song about her. Her life story is better than "Cinderella". Cinderella became the princess when the prince married her and that's it, a princess. Imelda, after she married a powerful man, worked hard to give the Filipinos hospitals, parks, housing, education, and many more..Despite the "pangmamata" of the jealous ugly socialites, Imelda emerged far more beautiful inside and outside than a hundred of them combined.

  • @MsMakahiya if weren't for imelda manial and the rest of the country would look crappy.. imagine the philippines without her massive projects.

  • FUCK OFF THE MESSAGE IS WE ARE STILL BEING FUCKED SO LETS STOP IT!

thas one of the ways i interpret it but who cares it's a good song, take from it what you will and stop bickering about your opinion of it for fucks sake, go and debate it someone who could turn your words into action, rather than bitching to provoke a reaction!i!i

  • @MsMakahiya You don't know what you're talking about. You freakin marcos fans are crazy ignorant! Majority of Filipinos were miserable during their reign. They did more DAMAGE than good! Something is terribly wrong with you guys if you think that it is okay to be corrupt - or that it's okay to abuse power. Also, most of the commendable things about Imelda is superficial in nature. Other than the superficial stuff, the good that she supposedly brought upon the Phils are mostly based from opinions
