Dubious Ranger opened for Phil Lesh (of the Grateful Dead, not to mention one of the greatest bassists of the last 50 years) at Slims in March 2009, and some handy dandy video shots were taken from the audience. Here the band plays a new, yet-to-be-released cut, "I Hear You Calling Out Your Name". The goal here was to approximate The Breakfast Club soundtrack had it been scored by dance-noise indie rockers... The 80s were a very dark time if you look at them through the right lens.
