Vinnie Amico of MOE. and Gary Kelly Saturday October 23rd at 1PM. They have created a master class sure to enhance any musicians repertoire! Parkway Music is offering specials and NO TAX to all participants. Vinnie, Gary and Parkway Music will provide giveaways from endorsement manufacturers! We also have door prizes like concert tickets to upcoming Step Up Presents Concerts!!

A 3-part clinic on bass, drums, and rhythm ...section playing
1:00 Gary will host a clinic geared toward improving bass players' technique & groove.
2:00 Vinnie will then take over, providing some drum and groove recipes.
3:00 Gary & Vinny will present a rhythm section master class examining the interaction between bass and drums & how to expand your rhythm section's vocabulary.

Vinnie Amico, a local drummer from the Saratoga area, has been playing drums for over 30 years. For the last 15 years Vinnie has played in the internationally well known jam band moe. Recording on 18 albums, he has played with Harren Haynes, Butch Trucks, Dickey Betts, Peter Frampton, members of the Grateful Dead and Phish. Vinnie plays many different styles of music which he will touch on in his clinic. Vinnie plays and endorses Yamaha Drums, Evans Heads, Vic Firth Sticks and Paiste Cymbals.

Gary Kelly has performed and/or recorded with artists Bill Frisell, Popa Chubby, Rhett Tyler, The Mama's and Papa's, Martha and the Vandella's, The Ed Palermo Big Band, The Tom Pierson Orchestra and many others from the jazz, rock, pop, and world music scenes. He has taught in Rome, Italy, and performed throughout Europe with his own group. After teaching at the Drummer's/Bass Collective in Manhattan for 8 years, he is currently Professor of Music Industry at The College of Saint Rose in Albany. He plays and endorses D'Addario Strings & Planet Waves Cables, Carl Thompson Basses, and Hartke Amplifiers.
