Haha good rant. 'DART' speak is annoying as it is so obvious the accent is false. Also, I use 'ye' for plural too, other parts of the country use 'youse', guess it depends where you're from.

Your accent is gorgeous, and your rants are adorable :) I can see where you're coming from...I (as an English girl obsessed with Irish accents) am often disappointed when I meet an Irish person and their accent sounds very English or American....not that I'm advocating an entire race of people stay true to their accent just to please me ;) but it would be a shame if those colloquialisms etc were lost. I love your vids, hope you'll be making more :)

Where's your black cat? I miss it interrupting your earlier conversation :)
He/she must have thought you talked to it; who else is important?
Ignore my question if it has already been asked tousands of times.

I find the ways that the English language evolves by combining with other cultures and languages, very interesting.
Noting and criticizing the changes that happens to all languages is valid, but to think there is some way to prevent the changes is futile.
The French try to keep to their language pure by legislature. Good luck with that. I enjoyed this video. Sorry it took me awhile to finally watch it.

@citizenkong It's not so much a change in the language as it is their sad misconception that the moronic way in which they speak it makes them sound classier or more highbrow.
To the rest of us they just sound like idiots with their heads entrenched firmly within a certain part of their anatomy.
