You guys have to understand nobody is forcing her to leave, she wants to leave to do another things. But, I do agree with Catherine and Grissom its gonna suck. But, I guess after 12 years of doing CSI she wants to do other things and the producers say she can come back anytime she wants to.

They should cancel the show entirely, so that did not work as a series Stargate.

Nor with Jorja's character Sara so why Gary's as they could've made him quit CSI to try and mend things with his ex-wife Tina or be there to raise his son or something.
Anywho I better wrap this up as I still think there making a HUGE MISTAKE but I will respect their decision, I just hope they don't get rid of Nick, Sara or Greg.

I mean you can feel, I can feel heck we can all feel it. So ask yourself this will you stil watch CSI with half of it's main cast pratically gone?. I guess I will until the end I have too CSI is too important to me to stop watching, even though I nearly did when Grissom left and that's another thing why did they kill Warrick? I mean just because Gary Dourdan left didn't mean they had to kill his character (they didn't do it when William Peterson did which I am thankful as I would've raised hell)

No how can they do this? Getting rid of the lead female character. They got rid of Warrick, Sara (for awhile), Gil Grissom (my favorite which shouldn't have happened), Langston (he was decent but could never replace Grissom) and now Cath.
I mean how is this fair as now the only remaining members of the original cast left are Nick, Greg and Sara, what's next are they gonna replace them too?. Ted Danson SERIOUSLY? the guy outa Cheers and Three Men and a Baby/Little Lady. I tell ya CSI is dying.
