Initiators: The cell that starts the development of cancer. The promoter comes after the initiator. Just think that it "promotes" like when you promote a product so it sells. There is the product (initiator) already and you just want to make sure the product really sells and survives in the market so you promote by whatever means (ad, by word of mouth), etc.

Goodrich plant near Louisville, Kentucky, were diagnosed with liver angiosarcoma also known as hemangiosarcoma, a rare disease
