  • Paul Jackson on bass for all the ladies in the house.

  • How can anyone b this good` those katz back then were not human to say ahead of their time` time is irrelevant with this shit right here! all this footage from germany is just`just pure joy!

  • Thanks so much for sharing. I've never seen this song performed live - actually, I haven't seen that much live Headhunters to begin with! Gotta love Herbie's afro with his ubiquitious nerdy glasses :P

  • It`s hard to comment on the drums because the sound editing is not good. The percussion is to loud - the snare is a little to loud - bass drum, open hi hat and ride (swoosh) are not or hard to hear. Mike is a great drum legend but you just cannot hear the dynamics.

  • @oliverecords I would absolutely love to see if there was any footage of Herbie's band with Harvey on drums.

  • @halfjapanesenirvana I agree. Mason's done an unmatchable performance on the original headhunters album, much more details, texture, dynamics to my ear, while I love Clarke's drumming on the funky records he made (I'm a hardcore fan of the Survival of the fittest LP). I'd be more interested to see and hear Mason play this live for instance.

  • @greekwy shutup

  • Mason's performance on Headhunter's is a hard act to follow. Clark is fine and all but unlike Mason on the Headhunters version he doesn't quite interact and drive this solo section here which is kept chugging by Summers maracas, Jackson's bass and the fire of Hancock himself. What great videotaping and editing. Thrust will never quite cut it in my book. I play it every now and then hoping to discover that I am wrong. Sadly, I never am. Viva Headhunters, Mason! Hancock looks cool as hell, too.

  • best album of all time. imo

  • THESE BROTHERS RIGHT HERE ARE THE HEBREW ISRAELITES!!!!

FROM THE 12 LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL!!!!!!!
