The reason why Shannen Doherty left Charmed behind her

Goddammit, I don't watch TV shows for the actresses and actors personal lives, I watch for the characters! I don't give a crap whether it was Shannen Doherty or Rosie O'Donnell (k...I actually might care...) who played Prue, I just wanted Prue to be in some of the other episodes along with the other sisters! It isn't realistic that the girls never called on the spirit of their dearly departed sister. I love Shannen, but I will always resent her for not caring about the show once she left...

This isn't the first show where the co-stars couldn't cope with Shannen Doherty and her attitude. Beverly Hills 90210 is another example. But Charmed is amazing and Shannen and Rose were Both amazing in Charmed. <3

Shannen claimed that Alyssa's diva like attitude on the set was something that caused friction amongst the cast and crew. Alyssa's take was that Shannen was hostile to everyone and made life on the set very difficult.

Stuck in the middle was Holly as she was good friends with both her co-stars. Holly claims that a mediator was sent to the set to resolve the issues but unfortunately it made matters worse as outsiders were now involved and the press soon got wind of the troubles on "Charmed"....

i like all of them as actresses but i still think the show got better after shannon left. now i am watching the show from the first episode to the last. I never got to watch them all til now.

@mclaughlin72 That's your opinion but how the show went on is REALISTIC. Sure the show is about their sisterhood, but they are women first, sisters second. Everything isn't gonna be all happy and pleasant, sisterhood, bonding and all that. Eventually they will develop relationships with men, have families of their own, go through the trials and tribulations of relationships, etc.
