Before 2:44 are calls recorded between Courtney Love and Tom Grant, who she hired to look for Kurt Cobain after he left a rehab center, BEFORE Kurt was found dead of a single shotgun blast to the head.

After 2:44 are calls AFTER Kurt's body was found.

The second woman (at 2:44) is Kurt and Courtney's entertainment lawyer Rosemary Carroll.

(Rosemary Carroll no longer talks about this case after Courtney made everyone who works for her sign a confidentiality agreement.)

@994206 CL doesn't get all the royalties, Krist and Dave get a small percentage. lawyers get a chunk too. The head detective and the coroner are both dead. Kurt was cremated (no body, no forensic evidence). CL payed off the SPD, I can guarantee you that. Tom Grant just has enough intelligence to say that they won't reopen the case because he's an interloper from another state. They returned the gun to CL, who proceeded to have it melted down and disposed of. all evidence is gone now.

@MydirtyRat1 PI's never have any jurisdiction to open investigations. "Interloper from another state." How insulting. Courtney hired him, remember? In Cali? To find out why Kurt went missing, was her reasoning...on a Sunday. Just some dumb gumshoe out of the phone book...so she thought. Not some dogged detective that used to work for LA County Sheriff's Department. Not this guy. Yeah. Sounds like you don't know Tom Grant very well.

@MydirtyRat1 And the amount of morphine in Kurt's blood that was leaked to the media by the coroner was never recanted. It could have been done without breaking confidentiality. So no. All evidence is not gone. The biggest evidence still sits right in front of us. And not a single person yet has been able to show a similar case to Kurt's where anyone has been able to do anything immediately after a dose that size other than nod off and/or die. (repeat repeat repeat)

SUICIDE

1-The toxicology results never leaked. Its been proven a newspaper lied about the reported amount of 1,52.

2-There were 6 prints lifted. The prints were not legible because os excessive sweat (usual in suicide cases because the victim gets nervous).

3-The note was analysed by an expert. Results? Kurt wrote every single word.

4-The credit card records are delayed (eg:plane ticket bought on april 1st, charged the 2nd).

Grow up and accept Kurt killed himself.

@floppingnoni  (1.) If it was a lie, all the coroner had to do was say so. (2.) There were no legible prints, only latent ones. (3.) Last lines are different than those of body of letter which is obvious upon close inspection. (4.) Credit card charges were instantaneous. Wrong all the way down the line. Sorry.

@GoddessFourWinds and I am aware that a PI cannot get a case re-opened, but if the SPD would take the evidence that Tom has to a grand jury, I bet it's enough to start a GJ trial...

@GoddessFourWinds I wasn't insinuating that TG was an interloper, I was giving the perspective of the SPD about him. Even Tom himself has said that he was insulted by the SPD when he was trying to present this evidence to them.

@GoddessFourWinds I don't think that by buying Nirvana licensed merchandise you are giving money to Courtney. Courtney had sold a good portion of her part of the Nirvana catalog several years ago. I am sure that she has borrowed money off the potential royalties and merchandise as well. I think that whatever monies come in from sales are being re-payed into the corporation for these loans she has taken. This is speculation on my part. but a lot of artists do this.

@InfidelAntichristian oh I so agree with this beginning in Rome. I think that she gave Kurt more Rohypnal after he was already out of his mind intoxicated. So easy to slip it into his champagne!! this happened about four weeks after his birthday when she was messing around with Billy Corrigan instead of spending Kurt's b-day with him. Rome was supposedly her attempt to "reconcile" that incident.
