@shahoney In that case go for the Stereo set. Not because of sound quality or preference of either stereo or mono, but because the mono set does not include all of the albums. The mono set only contains the albums wich were released in mono originally, and that does not include "Yellow Submarine", "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be".

Awesome!! I wish I had both collections completed. I only have Help!, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, The Beatles and Abbey Road. All of them in stereo, of course. I love stereo! Nowadays stereo has rolled over mono, just because mono does not fulfill musical needs. I like mono, Brian Wilson always defended mono, but I think that stereo makes you enjoy even better music. And, by the way, we have two ears, not only one. I think stereo is the exact formula for human ear, not mono, not 5.1, but stereo.

I received a box that didn't have all the CDs. Being a stoic I accepted this with equanimity. I swallowed hard twice and decided to just eat the loss. Its taste was rather bitter.

That's one nasty damage you got on the Stereo box. If it were me, I would have returned it straight away or if you didn't, at least demand some refund.

@shahoney the mono box is better in my opinion. The only thing is it won't come with Abbey Road, Let It Be, and Yellow Submarine. But u can get those for a cheap price :)
