@dukejon91 Nope. They can be charged with normal NiMH charger, so there's no DC-DC converter inside.

paid about a tenner for a pair, been using them for about 6 months now for my wireless mouse on the laptop and they rock.

WARNING: These batteries can cause permanent damage to you usb drive.
These batteries toasted the main irreplaceable usb port on my desktop motherboard and I needed pliers to take them out. I had to buy pci usb ports. Do NOT use these on laptops.
