Eddie... why were so many pseudonyms used, have you any idea? Heck I would want to take full credit for these recordings! haha. Very clever sound effects and great vocal! Overall a very fun record.

@75capriceconvertible I think it has to do with the fact that in the early days of recording, the band leader got paid for the recording session and that was it--he paid the musicians out of his returns. It didn't make any difference whether the record sold 10 copies or 10 million. It behooved them, then, to record under as many monikers as possible. So Varsity Eight, Golden Gate and Goofus Five are all California Ramblers. I think it was the ASCAP strike of 1942 that changed all this.
