  • The reason that Siouxsie is sitting with a stick on her hand was that few days ago that TV show she fucked up her ankle in a show .And I Think (I'm not sure) it was in Royal Albert Hall (they used to play there often) They used to play at Hammersmith Odeon too!

  • Siouxsie dislocated her left kneecap on 24 October 1985 at the Hammersmith Odeon during "Christine". This performance on "The Old Grey Whistle Test" was filmed only a few days after the acident, while the band were continuing with the 1985 tour, with Siouxsie sitting on a high stool.

The last show they played in 1985 was at the Royal Albert Hall on 28/11/85.

  • She sounds like a worn out coke head... sheesh, lay off the pipe, Mrs. Sioux!

  • first band i saw live @ the Poole Arts Centre.... She was sat on a stool with a pretty red dress on so it was about this time...Great concert

  • This is a real rock show.

  • i love everything from siouxsie and the banshees and the creatures

  • I love "Land's End" Glad to see it live. I love all The Banshees albums. They each have something their own. But "Tinderbox" is probably my favorite out of them all. The guitar work on the album is some of their best and I love the lyrics. I wish they would've performed "The Sweetest Chill" though, that's one of my favorite songs.

We just have to agree that we have different tastes when it comes to the Banshees' albums and even though I do love their early "Punk" sounding material, the "Juju" (which I know you love) - "Tinderbox" period remains my favourite. That's just how it is.

In all honesty, I actually think John Valentine Carruthers is my 2nd favourite guitarist, after the genius that is John McGeoch of course! I think Carruthers' contribution to the band was great, especially live stuff.

This is awful, I hate disagreeing with you about the Banshees. But this song is crap, which meant I didn't get to the second song. But I've left a couple of comments about the Peel Sessions which I hope will compensate.
