If you're interested, you can read about the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant accident on Wikipedia. Just do a Google search using the words "three mile island accident wikipedia." The accident made newspaper headlines around the world, but it has been overshadowed due to worse, larger accidents at Chernobyl and Japan's Fukushima. There is an interesting documentary on Youtube titled "Meltdown At Three Mile Island." What happened at Chernobyl could have happened here!

I haven't been "big" on nuclear power since the Three Mile Island accident happened in 1979. It was the world's worst nuclear accident (having had a partial meltdown) until Chernobyl happened. I've always lived within 40 minutes of Three Mile Island, and I will never forget the fear of that time.

MsKevin400 is actually correct when he said "pockets of radiation." There are enclosed areas and spaces where there are high levels of radiation.

the plants reactor today still has enough to destroy Europe, however they are not standing still near these pockets so its about getting as much radiation as standing in front of your microwave x the time spent in that area

I don't know the guy but believe me he is still alive. Don't play too much on computer games. Computer game Stalker is based on fiction-REALLY!!
