Mitsubishi Triton CNG - Proved from CNG Eco-Run Test

28th June, Mitsubishi held eco-run test with Triton CNG-E20 pickups. With journalists and columnists as witnesses of this prove. Route: Bangkok-Kaengkrajarn-Hua Hin. Total distance: 261.4 km. But this purpose is to evaluate for just how economy of their CNG savings will be. That's CNG alone. In that day, rate of CNG price is at 8.50THB per Kg.

The vehicles for test were run at speed rate: 70-90km/h in normal traffic. With A/C turned on. No re-fuel till finish.

The highest of CNG saving rates from this eco-run test are: 0.57THB per km (Single Cab), 0.54THB per km (Mega Cab). And these results automatically became one great point of satisfaction of energy saving for CNG pickup seekers. Because not reach full 1 THB yet. That meant savings a lot as happened by CNG vehicles like this. Thus can reduce the transportation costs because with this cheapest energy kind.

But there are also someone which rev it up to almost 140 km/h.

Even though prices of all kinds of fuel still climbs up and never stay still, CNG is still cheapest (and clean) energy choice.
