How to replace pull start with power starter

@TheMrmares there is a DIY method. if you can do it. get the right backing plate and use a drill to start it.

oh and can u make a video about setting the engine in the right idle. When i take the igniter out, The engine stops running. How can i fix this?

@productionvideos27 Prime it a couple of turns only. As soon as you see the fuel flowing through the fuel lines and you don't see any bubbles, you should be good. A roto starter takes the headache of the pull start away. It is MUCH easier to flood the engine with the pull start.

@flyboyjuelz As long as you have fuel and a glow plug ignitor, you should be good. The starter kit comes with the fuel bottle, tools, and the glow plug ignitor. It comes in handy.

@SuperAlexisbest Your throttle is far too open. Remove the intake and look inside the carb. It should be 1-2mm open MAX. Anything more than 2MM will send your car flying as soon as you start it up.

Do these kits only come with the dogbone or does it depend on the brand? I just ordered a kit but its a hex drive kit not a dog bone. I have a Backdraft SH .21

your throttle trim is too high on controler possibly or the the throttle on the car is too high

all you need is a slim neck screw driver and a flashlight to see what you are doing...

hey ali, for this setup how would you prime the motor without flooding it? it looks like that motor overturns very quickly and might flood the engine if you prime it?
