The Niagara County Legislature unanimously went on the record against a microstamping bill passed by the New York State Assembly, admonishing the Assembly for its disregard for the 2nd Amendment, and calling on the New York State Senate to kill the bill.

  • When one considers those who spoke are supposed to know their subject matter, they sure did waffle on instead of getting to the point.

Thankfully their fellow legislators were in accord with their intent because it wouldn't have gone so well if some were opposed.

Simply: Microstamping is unreliable, easily defeated by a few file strokes to the firing pin or by using a revolver & open to misdirection by gathering cases from a range.

Of course that wont deter Bloomberg & his communist friends.

  • Common sense in New York. Who knew?

I might have gone with the more straightforward "it's a bunch of stupid crap that will cost a lot and won't do jack," but Legislator Hill's argument was pretty good too.

  • Yes! Thank you for a wise decision.
