  • It works, what else is there to say.

  • Hell ya. Now I have a new business!

  • Well, it arrived today and I used it.........Worked great. I had to do it the opposite way going from the laundry room up and out the vent. I've been using an electric leaf blower every couple of times per year so I didn't get as much out as you would think, but I still got a LOT!!! A plastic shopping bag full.......After doing it, I then used an electric leaf blower and the roof is COVERED with lint as well.....From start to finish all this took about 40 min's. Pretty easy. I'm happy!

I'm guestimating a total of 15 feet.....Starts in the middle of the house (laundry room) with the initial turn straight up about eight/nine feet, then a 45 degree turn, then straight about 5 feet, then it looks like sort of an "elbow" turn before it exits out of the roof cap.....My main concern is the unit going out the roof cap, I actually want it to push all the lint out of the roof cap as well but just didn't want it to get stuck, directions are from doing it from outside in.

  • @mark40511 I think it would work for you. It does a good job self-feeding. The only thing I've run into occasionally is that the rods become twisted sometimes when I'm going through a particularly bad part of our exhaust system (many short bends in a small area).

I have a question......My laundry room is in the middle of my house and vents through the roof (total of about 15 feet I think) and exits on a roof cap. Can this be used from inside going out up through the roof cap? It's a steep pitched roof and I don't want to get up there and do it from the roof down....I notice some lint collecting on the outside of the roof cap. Thanks

  • Just bought one from Lowes today!!!! Thanks to google and youtube.

  • I use mine about every six months and it works great. Especially good for long duct runs like mine (36')

  • these work great I cleaned mine this past weekend
