Renowned for bringing out the choreographic talents of some of the most superb dancers in Hong Kong, the Dancers' Homework Series by City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) never ceases to surprise. In Talk To Him, a mixed bill by CCDC's dancers turned choreographers, Chan Yi Jing, Lam Po, Luo Fan and Yang Hao, to be staged at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre from 23-25 September, audiences will be drawn to a bizarre world that is stranger than fiction.

In an era of digital worlds and virtual reality, renaissance men are rarer than dinosaurs. Metropolitans are now filled with super nerds and uber-geeks so immersed in their PlayStations, apps, and Nintendos they don't even know day from night. But inside their mindless daydreaming carcasses something never changes -- the primitive instincts of body movement, which speaks better than any language in the world. Four talented CCDC male dancers, each excel in their unique body language, will tell their stories through other bodies this time. Growing up in different cities with diverse backgrounds, these dancers have something in common -- their keen observations of human nature and city life. So come talk to them, you might find the most exciting storytellers who speak with movements that are louder than words.
