On Friday 2nd September, Visiting Engine: Statfold Barn Based Loco: Jung Mallet: No.9 hauled a Special Charter train from Porthmadog-Rhyd Ddu-Beddgelert-Porthmadog.

This Video captures this Charter train at the following locations:

1: Climbing Out of Beddgelert Forest towards the Summit
2: Climbing from Rhyd Ddu up to Pitts Head and Over the Summit again
3: The engine and train at Beddgelert Station during a lengthy scheduled stop for passengers
4: Heading Over the River Glaslyn and Heading along the Aberglaslyn Pass towards Porthmadog

An Additional Shot of Garrett 87 hauling a service train, heading along the Aberglaslyn Pass towards Beddgelert is included at the end.

The Mallet is due to be One of Several Guest Locomatives due to appear at the WHR Superpower Weekend over from the 9th to 11th September 2011. Also taking part in the 'King of the Hills' Trial over the Weekend between Beddgelert and Rhyd Ddu.

  • @TheJumper2307 I agree, its failure in Easter was laughable, but it clearly is a waste of space and not as powerful as some have tried to make out, hi Jamie btw!!!

  • im sorry but thats such a failure of an engine, after working with it for the time its been with us, its failed twice, and it doesnt steam fantastically. :P
