A RARE PIECE OF HISTORY:
One of the very few uploads on Youtube that features - IN FULL - the February 25, 1986 Oath-taking of Her Excellency, Corazon 'Cory' Cojuangco-Aquino, Eleventh President of the REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES (1986-1992); CHAMPION of the 1987 Philippine Constitution and HEROINE of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution FROM THREE DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINTS! :-D

~-~-~
On February 25, 1986, Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino took her oath as the Eleventh and First Woman President of the Republic of the Philippines at the Sampaguita Hall (now the Kalayaan Hall), Club Filipino, San Juan, with Associate Justice Claudio Teehankee, Sr. administering the oath.

This was the climax of the four-day uprising of the Filipino People against the dictatorship of President Ferdinand Marcos now known all over the world as the People Power Revolution in February of 1986.

  • this is a nice video. It is a vital part of the Filipino people's history. The time where Philippines was able to gain its democracy back after the Martial Law.
