While I know that there is always a focus on weight here in fittie world, I think that an extremely beneficial side effect (and in my opinion the most valuable benefit) to exercise is stamina. And while 7 hours a week seems like a lot, I think it only seems like a lot if you end up trying to do it all in one day. A little each day - even if you can't find the time for a full hour - will get your momentum going and you'll soon find it hard to limit yourself to 7 hours a week!
It is always good to catch up on the latest studies, but I would take them with a grain of salt until there are multiple other studies confirming. Even though the journal article supposedly tells you the conditions of the experiment, often minute details are left out that really matter. As a researcher I can tell you that at least 50% of studies that seem OK to someone "outside the field" have serious flaws and raise questions for those of us in the field, and most are never corrected in print.
an hour a day wow I dont think I could do that lol..i just saw on Howcast that the average adult should get 2 and a half hours of physical activity WEEKLY according to the US dept of Health and Human Services.

Thanks Debbie downer, I guess the burger and beer for lunch is out NOW!
Just kidding. Ill still have that burger for lunch, however it will be really small and water in place of beer.
Rather boring, but better or me.
Always good seeing you and keep smiling.
