Nah people in Port Huron, Michigan have a thick Canadian accent. People in Port Huron have the EXACT SAME ACCENT that they have in Ontario. And people in Port Huron do NOT speak American English, people in Port Huron speak CANADIAN English, if you want a Northern yet American accent go to Ohio or Indiana, you won't find any American accents in the Canadian province...I mean, State of Michigan

I have lived in Port Huron all of my llfe and we DO NOT have a thick Canadian accent. The people from Ontario speak diferently than we do. They speak with more of a British dialect than we do. We speak American English.
