It has been a hard year for the Aviation Industry, with many airline failures and mergers. Despite the difficult times one airline has gone from strength to strength. Jet2.com started with three aircraft in 2003, and in 2009 flew 32 aircraft on over 70 routes. 2009 has been one of the most successful years for Jet2.com, with a profit of £28.1 million. Jet2.com has gained a reputation of being a low cost airline with exceptional service, great value flight times and convenient UK departure airports. 2010 is set to be an even better year with a new base at East Midlands airport, as well as fantastic new routes from existing bases to Prague, Bergerac, Corfu, Reus, Venice, Sharm El Sheikh and Dalaman just to mention a few. With further Boeing 757's arriving soon the airline is set to expand in the next year when most airlines are cutting back. This video is dedicated to all exceptionally dedicated and hard working staff that have made Jet2.com one of the success stories of the decade. Well done, and thank you. Here is to 2010.
