I talk about the truth about component cables.

If you have any questions just write them in the you tube field or send me an email. Diemetrix gmail

More info:

My Tv has one component connection.
To connect three consoles via Component I use a normal composite switch. I use composite extension cords to send the signal from the switch to the component connection on my TV by plugging white red and yellow in the blue green and red.

You need Component cables for all your consoles to get this work.

__

I know 360 displays "best" in 720p.
But On my TV 1080i displays better.
Probably something wrong with my TV.

At my friends TV 720p does looks better.

  • It's a good idea, to be honest...but I honestly would rather spend about 40-50 dollars on a component switch with 4 inputs than have to deal with jaggedness.

That's what I plan on doing, at least :D

  • Buying qulity is allways the safe way to go.

But this method will not give you more jaggies. The reason for the jaggies is the Wii's lack of a true HD signal.

  • u sound like a smurf

  • Most people say I sound like Kermit the frog ^^

But I'll add smurf to the list.

  • i have a question... i have a HDTV but its not PURE HD , its just HD ready... but i use 1080p setting on my xbox360 .. is it OK ??? because i noticed that 1080p looks better then 720p/1080i

  • In theory 1080p shouldn't work at all.

But if it works and looks better. Keep it at 1080p ;)

  • Anyone please help..... I have a 60" Philips Magnavox Rear Projection TV. One of the 2005 models. It has the component input. Can I get a high HD resolution if I get the component cables for my PS3 or 360?

  • Dang, I didn't know it was that easy. Silly me I bought 4, 50inch hd tv's

  • @GuyMan89 Component cables can do 1080p easily, but today, as a gimmick, most HD TVs do not allow component to provide 1080p, but only up to 1080i. They do that to force you into buying HDMI cables.

  • hey i have a modulater that i use to play my ps2 on the tv will it work with the cables i got for my psp?

  • ZELDAAAAAA

  • Much like Josh Flitter has made for an Ace Ventura 3, this kid could make for a "Borat 2".

  • norway sucks balls

  • Very good video! Personally I always turn off all artificial sharpness. Btw, Mayflash released a VGA cable for Wii+PS3 which provides an even better picture with Wii. It's still using the Wii's component out but it transcodes the digital video to VGA instead of analog component.

  • my tv looks better in 1080p

  • Hey i just bought a 19 inch HDTV ready (720p) for using Component cables to record games on my ps3, but the quality of the Component Looks almost as bad as Composite, is it the TV?
