  • Andrew you made mistake! This video is from 1961 not from 1964, you see Jet with The Shadows? It must be before 1963 :>

  • Oh yes, i see! the last clip is in fact from 1964 but i can see why it looks wrong! the Crackerjack clip is indeed from '61

Thank You for pointing this out

  • The first clip id from 1961 as it the first Shadows line up. The second clip where they play dance On is from the 1964 NME Poll Winners concert. It fratures a very early live appearence by John Rostill on bass and is soon after they started using Burns guitars in place of Fenders.

  • Never had a chance to see them back in the early 60s when I was living in France. Heard and bought all their records cause I was learning the guitar at the time and was drooling over their Fenders. Hank Marvin is the lead guitar with the dark glasses.

  • Thanks a lot for this trip into amnesia! Excellent music indeed, and we do share your taste for it!

    Regards from Brittany

  • Thank for video

  • jet is so cool

  • Jet left the Shads around April '62. Nobody looked as cool as Jet on the Fender Precision bass.

  • jet harris lived just down the road from me,and he knocked on the door and played along with me and my mate phil, lololol, this is very true, and he was pist as a fart but it was great fun,he knows all my family, more so my mother ,he was funny

  • Yesssss I love shadows with Harris on bass!!!

  • ok, ok don't worry :) 5/5 of course :) It's nice that you like Jet Harris's bass style, and it's nice that you like shadows and your films are veery nice. Thank you very much for films/movies :))))
